My main point, was that Skandinavian paganism was very much like contemporary christianity at that time. You're thinking more Tenginism, wayyyyy off to the east. Actually women had more rights under the pagan lords of Skandinavia than the christians of Britain at the time. There might be some mod that allows it but I can't recall any off hand that do.
